FEAST OF ST. CLAUDINE THEVENET

HOW GOOD GOD IS

The feast of our Mother Foundress St. Claudine Thevenet was celebrated on the 2nd of February 2018 at St. Agnes’ High School.  A special Eucharistic was celebrated on this occasion as the congregation completes 200 years of service this year. Father Prashant was the main celebrant on this day.

Father Prashant helped the audience to recall the life of Claudine; she had experienced the tragedy of the French Revolution and had gone through the life-shattering experience of witnessing the execution of her brothers. Father urged us to carry on the spirit of Claudine in our country which is faced with so much violence. Through a video of young Vivienne Harr who was touched by the picture of young boys who are forced into slavery has started a campaign to end child slavery through her ‘Make A Stand’, Father fuelled our hearts to make a difference in the world.
