Independence Day.

Freedom in the mind, Faith in words, Pride in our souls.

The 73rd Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August with great enthusiasm and respect. The program was planned and executed by the students and class teachers of Std: X.

The celebration began with the unfurling of the National Flag and singing of the National Anthem. A meaningful skit displaying social evils and how we have become slaves to technology and the remedies to overcome these problems was depicted. Patriotic songs and dances infused a patriotic fervour among the students.

Our very own Hindi teacher, Sir Hariram Yadav was the chief guest. A speech on “how the youth of today can be the heroes of the nation” was presented by Ms. Shravani Sawant of Std: X.

The program concluded with the vote of thanks by our Principal, Sr. Flory

Indeed, it was a day of joy and a day of love and respect for our country. We need to strive to make our country a better place to live in and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
