Republic Day Celebration – A Tribute to Our Nation’s Pride
Our school celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm, dignity, and a deep sense of patriotism. The entire campus was filled with the spirit of unity and national pride as students and teachers gathered to commemorate this historic day.
The programme began with the hoisting of the National Flag by our esteemed Chief Guest, Ms Reeda Pinto, along with our respected Principal, Sr Greenal. As the Tricolour fluttered proudly in the air, everyone stood in attention and sang the National Anthem with reverence. This was followed by a patriotic speech that stirred the hearts of all present and reminded us of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.
The Chief Guest was formally introduced by Ms Rita, after which the cultural segment began. Students of Standard VII presented vibrant and inspiring regional dances that beautifully showcased India’s rich and diverse cultural heritage. Their energetic performances reflected the unity in diversity that our nation stands for.
In her address, Ms Reeda Pinto spoke eloquently about the importance of patriotic values such as discipline, honesty, and responsibility. She emphasized the vital role of the younger generation in shaping the future of the country and encouraged students to work hard, dream big, and contribute positively to the nation’s progress and development.
The celebration concluded on a solemn and emotional note with the singing of the National Song, “Vande Mataram.” Warm wishes were exchanged as everyone left with hearts full of pride, gratitude, and renewed love for the nation 🇮🇳.
