The school believes that a balance needs to be achieved between academics and extra curricular activities. The school has a student council, house system and various other facilities as well.

Class picnics are held once a year. Craft and painting courses are offered. Competitions hi Elocution, Singing, Dance, Drama are held at the school and inter-school level regularly.

In 2004, the school banned the use of plastics by its students, due to environmental concerns associated with the use of most plastics.
