29th January, 2024 – Installation Ceremony –
St. Agnes High School held its Investiture Ceremony 2024-25 on 29th January, 2024, in the gracious presence of the Principal Sr. Josefina and Vice-Principal Sr. Greenal. We were also honoured to have with us Sr. Lavina and Sr. Selma from the Congregation of Jesus and Mary, East Timor.
The day commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Josefina, Sr. Lavina and the four outgoing prefects.The newly elected student council received their badges and sashes from the Principal.
This was followed by the student-leaders taking the pledge to hold the motto and values of the school in high esteem with integrity and diligence and work towards the betterment of the school.
The newly elected Head Girl expressed her gratitude and her ideas and vision for the students and the school.
In an inspiring message on the students of today and the leaders of tomorrow, our Principal Sr. Josefina congratulated the newly elected leaders and emphasized the importance of effective leadership. The newly appointed student leaders were encouraged to embrace their roles with dedication and enthusiasm and lead by example as role models to their peers.
She then handed over Tokens of Love and Appreciation to the outgoing headgirl and her council for their dedicated service.
The solemn ceremony concluded with the school song.
