Math and Science Quiz Contest was held on 18th December 2019 to encourage students to look beyond their textual knowledge and establish a relationship between theory and application of the learnt concepts.
Students of Std: VII to IX representing the four houses, participated in the contest.
Where Math teaches one to accept challenges, solve their own problems and gives a hope that every problem has a solution, Science on the other hand deals with energy. However, Love is the most powerful energy in the universe which keeps us bonded with each other.
There were six alternate rounds of Math and Science. Each team was given 20 seconds to answer a particular question. Every correct answer carried 5 points.
The results were as follows:
1st place secured by the students of the house of St. Mark.
2nd place secured by the students of the house of St. Mathew.
Since there was a tie between the house of St. John and St. Luke, a tiebreaker round was held wherein the house of St. John secured the 3rd place.
