Field Trip (Std: VIII).

On 28th February 2020, the students of Std: VIII went on a Field Trip to the Nehru Science Centre. On reaching there the children were stunned to see how meticulously the place was maintained.

There were different sections like the Hall of Evolution, the Technology Heritage, Climate change, Light and sight exhibition, etc. The place was a storehouse of knowledge as children received information on the Big Bang Theory – the beginning, cosmic evolution, age of dinosaurs, late Devonian mass extinction and the Triassic Jurassic mass extinction. Children were also informed about some rare species which one didn’t know still existed.

Later they learnt about the different cultures of architecture, the prehistoric life, various forms of livelihood, nuclear power, fusion of light, etc.

Various experiments were conducted which further helped increase their interest in Science.

Children were enthralled as they returned with rich learning experiences.
