Teacher’s Day Celebration.

Teachers’ Day is celebrated on 5th September all over India to mark the birth anniversary of our first Vice-President and the second President of India, Dr. Radhakrishnan Sarvepalli, a great scholar who dedicated his life towards education. This day is observed to honour the bond between children and their mentors who influence their lives in several ways.
Teachers provide the power of education to the children, helping them to dream bigger and thus giving them the possibility of a better future.
In the present pandemic situation, with lockdown restrictions and social distancing norms put in place, our Council members took to celebrating Teachers’ Day virtually on 6th September 2021 to appreciate the dedication and hard work put in by the teachers to make learning possible through a virtual platform and to thank them for a pivotal role they play in their lives.
A short prayer service was conducted. The students thanked their teachers for being patient listeners and gentle guides and for striving hard to impart education through virtual means.
Students also prayed for their retiring PT teacher, Sir Andrew.
A Power Point Presentation took the teachers down memory lane helping them recall the exciting events that took place in school, in the past.
Our Principal, Sr. Flory and our Supervisor, Ms. Anisa thanked the students for their co-operation, collaboration and team work in making this day a special one for all the teachers.
