11th January 2024 – ‘Promoting a Drug-Free Mumbai’
A massive sensitizing program on prevention of illegal drug abuse was held for students of Std. 5th to 8th by Mr. Bosco D’Souza, Executive Committee Member of Nashabandhi Mandal Maharashtra Rajya, under its new initiative “STUDENT PAHERI CLUB” an initiative led by Our Hon’ble Minister of Education, Shri Deepak Kesarkar.
The talk delved into the legal implications of drug abuse, emphasizing the serious consequences individuals may face. Engaging activities and open discussions encouraged students to express their thoughts and concerns. The talk concluded with a call to action, urging students to become ambassadors for a drug-free Mumbai.
The oath against illegal drugs was led by Principal Josephina Albuquerque and the mentor, Mrs. Michelle Fereira.
