19th January, 2024 – Celebrating Feast of St. Agnes – Honoring Purity, Chastity, and Virtue.
The Feast of St. Agnes, celebrated on January 21st, unfolded as a day of reverence and jubilation in honor of the patron saint of purity, chastity, and young girls. The day was marked with a series of events aimed at honoring her legacy.
The prayer dance served as a symbolic expression of gratitude for St. Agnes’ guidance and intercession.
A short skit was performed depicting values such as: forgiveness, outreach, education, environmental consciousness, purity and generosity.
The skit was complemented by expressive dances, each dedicated to embodying one of the mentioned values. A poignant video portraying the life of St. Agnes provided a deeper understanding of her virtuous journey.
The students then had an enjoyable time tasting the various delicacies at the canteen and the Jam session organised by the students of Std 8
