9th February, 2024 – Awareness precedes change.
Students of Std 5 and 6 assembled in the hall on the 9th for an awareness talk by Shri Anant Deshmukh; Secretary at District Legal Services Authority Mumbai. Mr Anant who is a magistrate for the last 14 years spoke to the students about the POCSO Act ie: Prevention of Child Sexual Offence. Ms Mahima Mohite and Ms Depali Salunke from CAW –Crime against women, crime branch also shared valuable information.
As Educators it is our responsibility to Enlighten and Educate the students because Awareness is a major step towards creating a safer society.
