28th February, 2024 – National Science Day
In India every year National Science day is celebrated on 28th Feb to mark the discovery of Raman Effect (inelastic scattering of photons by matter) by Sir CV Raman. The theme of 2024 for National Science day launched by Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh is “Indigenous technology for Viksit Bharat”.
1.The theme focuses on the promotion of science and technology among the Public and enhances the practical thinking of science and technology.
2 . It insists on the collaboration of the public and scientific community.
St. Agnes’ organized a Science Exhibition on 28th Feb 2024 from 9:00 AM onwards. Students of Std 6th to Std 8th participated and showed their talent and creativity through their amazing and unique models under the guidance of their Science teacher Ms.Michelle , Ms.Zeba and Ms.Winny . In the Era of Artificial Intelligence the magic of science and technology was beautifully displayed by the students.
