Eco Club Ganesha program awareness
On September 6, 2024, the Eco Club hosted a vibrant eco-friendly Ganesha program in the school hall to raise awareness about the environmental impacts of chemically made Ganpati idols. The event began with a dynamic presentation vividly illustrating the pollution caused by idols made from POP and synthetic paints. Impactful videos further demonstrated how eco-friendly idols, crafted from biodegradable materials like clay, dissolve harmlessly, leaving no toxic residue behind.
Following the presentation, the real fun began during the interactive Q&A session. Students eagerly participated, asking creative questions about making their own eco-friendly Ganpati idols at home and celebrating the festival in a greener, more sustainable way.
This event successfully blended education with engagement, leaving a lasting impression on the school community about the importance of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in an environmentally conscious manner.
