Walk for Unity: Celebrating 76th Republic Day

To commemorate the 76th Republic Day of India, Christ Church School organized a meaningful ‘Walk for Unity’ on 26th January 2025, in collaboration with neighboring institutions. The event sought to celebrate India’s rich heritage of Unity in Diversity, fostering national pride and solidarity among students.

The walk began at 9:30 AM from Christ Church School, Byculla, and concluded at Bombay YMCA International House, Mumbai Central, covering approximately 2.5 km. The route traversed through prominent landmarks such as Nagpada Junction, Belasis Road, and Morland Road, before culminating at 11:00 AM.

Students carried vibrant placards and chanted powerful slogans emphasizing peace, tolerance, and harmony, drawing the attention of onlookers along the way. The local community enthusiastically supported the march, reinforcing the collective spirit of unity.

The event was more than just a walk—it was a vivid reminder that “India’s strength lies in the threads of diversity woven together by the spirit of unity.” It ignited a deep sense of patriotism and togetherness, leaving an indelible impact on all participants.
