PTA Outreach to Migrant Families.

On Sunday, December 14th, the PTA members of our school organized a meaningful outreach programme for the migrant families from St. Francis Xavier Chapel, Colaba. The initiative was a heartfelt gesture of care and solidarity, reflecting the school community’s commitment to service and compassion. At 10:00 a.m., the migrant families gathered at St. Agnes’ High School, where the programme began with a prayer service led by Sr. Greenal. The prayer set a spiritual and reflective tone for the morning, reminding everyone of the importance of gratitude, sharing, and love for one another.

Following the prayer service, snacks were served to all the families. The highlight of the event was the distribution of hampers to ten migrant families. These hampers were generously contributed by the students of St. Agnes’ High School along with the PTA members, showcasing a wonderful spirit of generosity and teamwork. The outreach programme brought smiles to many faces and strengthened the bond between the school community and the migrant families. It was a truly enriching experience that reinforced the values of kindness, empathy, and social responsibility among all those who took part.
