Christmas is a joyful celebration of the Birth of Baby Jesus. A special assembly was held for the Catholic students on Monday, 16th December 2019 to mark the Third Week of Advent.
Sr. Flory and our Head girl, Lourdes Fernandes lit the pink candle which symbolizes Joy.
Joy can be exuberant when we experience the faithfulness of God, it can be calm confidence in the sovereignty, or pure delight as He expresses His love.
We are joyful because we are now more than halfway through our Advent season of waiting to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
The students prayed that the hope and joy of this season may fill our hearts and make us living signs of God’s love for a world that hungers for His peace.
