Celebrating Republic Day with Pride and Patriotism
Republic Day, celebrated every year on January 26th, marks a significant milestone in India’s history as the day in 1950 when our Constitution came into effect, declaring India a democratic republic. This momentous occasion was commemorated with great enthusiasm and pride in our school.
The celebrations began with the hoisting of the national flag by our esteemed Principal, Sr. Greenal, and our Chief Guest. This was followed by the heartfelt rendition of the National Anthem, uniting everyone in a spirit of patriotism.
Students of Std 5 presented a vibrant cultural program, which included soulful patriotic dances and inspiring speeches about the significance of Republic Day. Their performances reflected the values of freedom, unity, and love for the nation.
The event concluded with the collective singing of Vande Mataram, leaving a sense of pride and hope in every heart.
“The greatness of a nation lies in the values it upholds and the spirit of its people.” This celebration served as a reminder to honor the sacrifices of those who built our nation and to cherish the privileges of democracy.
