The Star of Hope Still Shines.

20th December 2019.

Christmas is celebrated as the day of the Birth of Christ into this world. It also symbolizes a deep significant truth of the spiritual life. Jesus Christ is the very personification of Divinity. He was born at a time when ignorance, superstition, greed, hatred and hypocrisy prevailed upon the land. Purity was forgotten and morality was neglected.

Christmas is a time to ponder on the most important things in our life- our faith, our family, our friends and our community. It is the time to reflect on the great love Jesus has for each one of us. Though He was God, He humbled Himself to be born as a human being and sacrificed Himself for us.

The Christmas celebration for the children was held on Friday, 20th December 2019. The programme began with a skit depicting the season of Giving and Receiving, followed by the Christmas Tableau presented in the form of a musical.

Intentions were offered to Baby Jesus for peace and unity amongst the people, to make the world a better place to live in.

Later children danced to the rhythm of the remixes of Christmas Carols.

The children parted with a Christmas message and a gift.

We wish each one of you a Christmas filled with love, happiness, peace and hope.
