Drug Free Pledge and Awareness Programme
St. Agnes High School participated in the Nashamukti Janajagruti Abhiyan, Mumbai 2026 with great enthusiasm on Thursday, 30th July 2026.The students of Std. 6 to 8 gathered to take a solemn Drug Free Oath, pledging to lead healthy lives and to stay away from all forms of substance abuse. The oath-taking ceremony was a powerful reminder of the importance of making conscious and responsible choices for a better future.
As part of the programme, the children were shown the live broadcast of the Nashamukti Janajagruti Abhiyan held at NSCI Dome, Worli, Mumbai. The session was addressed by dignitaries including Hon. Shri. Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, and other respected leaders of the state government.The broadcast highlighted the message: “Nasha swatah sobat andhar, vinash aani uddhvasta gheun yete” Drugs bring darkness, destruction, and devastation with them.
The programme concluded with students reaffirming their commitment to the cause with the slogan “Nashamukt Mumbai, Aapli Jababdari!” A Drug-Free Mumbai is Our Responsibility!The initiative successfully instilled awareness among students and inspired them to become ambassadors of a drug-free society.
