FIRST FRIDAY MASS
2nd August 2019 being the First Friday of the month, a Eucharistic Celebration was held in the Senior school hall.
As we are children of God, the Celebrant, Rev. Fr. Henry D’Souza encouraged us to come closer to God.
Through his homily, Fr. brought out 3 important issues which often produces negative impressions:
- Having preconceived notions about others.
- Wanting others to accept our ideas.
- Suppressing or looking down upon others when they excel.
Father helped us to appreciate the presence of God in our lives and to ponder on our attitude and be optimistic in life.
Fr. stressed on remembering and practicing the 4A’s namely,
- Accept: accepting the uniqueness in others.
- Appreciate: appreciating others for their deeds.
- Adapt: adapting to changes that come our way
- Available: being available and reaching out to others as and when the need arises.
