OUR SILVER JUBILARIAN
12th July 2019.
The Silver Jubilee function was held on 12th July 2019 to felicitate Mr. Andrew Gonsalves, Mr. Hariram Yadav, Ms. Archana Magar and Ms. Michelle Fereira on their completion of 25 years of dedicated service in our school.
The theme for the occasion was, “25 Years of Inspiring lives, yet to continue……..”
The students cheered the Jubilarians and welcomed them with a loud round of applause. The program began with the lighting of samai and a prayer dance followed by a prayer service invoking God’s presence in the lives of our Jubilarians as they continue to educate young minds.
There was a power point presentation which helped revive memories of the past 25 years served faithfully at St. Agnes. The jubilarians were then introduced with words of love and appreciation by the following teachers: Ms. Vanessa for Sir Andrew, Ms. Sangeeta Andrades for Sir Yadav, Ms. Babita for Ms. Archana and Ms. Crystal for Ms. Michelle.
Children then danced gracefully on a medley of songs which the jubilarians enjoyed to their hearts content.
Ms. Michelle and Ms. Archana expressed their gratitude through a vote of thanks. Sr. Flory thanked the Jubilarians for their selfless service, love and concern. She concluded with the statement that one can receive knowledge from the google or the internet, but that would make us robots. It is only TEACHERS who make us HUMAN BEINGS.
