Maharashtra Day.
Observed as Maharashtra Day, May 1st is celebrated to commemorate the formation of the state of Maharashtra after getting divided from the then Bombay State in the year 1960. This day is also celebrated as Labour Day.
A short virtual assembly was conducted by the Students and the Marathi and Hindi teachers of Std: VIII to celebrate this event.
Children prayed for all those labourers who have been affected by the pandemic and have lost their jobs. They also prayed for those suffering and those who have lost their dears ones due to the pandemic, that they may never lose hope and continue to trust in the Lord.
The programme concluded with a speech in Marathi and a dance.
