Marathi Bhasha Diwas was celebrated to honour the famous Marathi poet, Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar popularly known by his pen name Kusumagraj who made significant contribution in the cultural field of Maharashtra. It is a day marked to celebrate the heritage of Marathi.
Various online programmes and competitions were held to highlight the importance of Marathi literature.
