15th and 16th December, 2023 – Trip to Sangamner
The students of standard 8th to 10th went for an overnight Outreach programme to the beautiful village of Sangamner. It was a special visit to the Convent of Jesus and Mary to spend time with the kids there. On the way, they visited the Shrine of the Infant Jesus Church at Nashik. The beautiful experience at Sangamner village was ethereal, catching on to the vibes of nature, the different animals and plants at the convent.
The Sisters cooked tasty meals and the students played games and taught the kids activities like: paper quilling. The students also gave gifts to the children which made, not only the receiver but also the giver really happy.
The students also visited another place run by the same Congregation, where nurses were being trained. Later, they visited a school and learned interesting things.
The students had an enriching experience and left with happy memories. The students had a fantastic time and were grateful to everyone, especially our Principal, Sr. Josefina who made this trip possible.
Reaching out to the less fortunate
On 19th December, 2023 a few students of Std 9 and 10 and Ms Vanessa went to the streets of Navi Mumbai for an Outreach programme. Our Principal, Sr Josefina initiated this programme along with the help of WWH ( We Will Help ) organization.
The students of Std 5 to 10 had donated several essentials like: towels, blankets, tea powder, stationary etc. The gratitude expressed by the people on the street was worth all the effort taken. The students also visited ‘Gurukul’ where the street children are being educated by the WWH organization. The students had an enriching time teaching the children poems and interacting with them.
Learning for such experiences will definitely make the students work towards a just and humane society.
