Because girls are meant for outdoor adventure, Girl Scouting gives them an opportunity to discover the beauty and wonders of the natural world. As they explore, hike, swim, and camp, they’ll be building outdoor skills and the confidence to challenge themselves to do more. Guided and supported by Mrs. Noronha, the leader trainer, the students embarked to Pinewood Resort Karjat, for an overnight camp on the 24th and 25th of November.
Various activities like non – utensil cooking, trekking, drama and singing competitions was undertaken where the students actively participated exhibiting their talent.
The girls truly enjoyed themselves with rope walking, net climbing, tent pitching and other activities.
At the end of the day singing songs and dancing around the bon fire
This Summer Camp aimed at keeping the students engaged & provided them an even platform to explore and express their creativity, in any form. They not only made memories while having fun but they were able to face their fears, try new things, pushed their boundaries and realized self-sufficiency.
