Sports Day 2024: Celebrating Athletic Excellence and Team Spirit.
On November 22, 2024, St. Agnes High School hosted its Annual Sports Day on the Claudine Thevenet ground, beginning at 8:00 AM. The event was graced by our esteemed chief guest, Ms. Quincy D’Souza, a National-level sportswoman and an accomplished ex-student of our school. She inaugurated the day by hoisting the school flag during a vibrant opening ceremony, setting the tone for a day filled with energy and enthusiasm.
The event commenced with a synchronized march-past, showcasing the discipline and unity of our students. This was followed by an array of exhilarating races and competitions that kept the audience enthralled. Among the highlights was the inter-house relay race, which demonstrated remarkable teamwork, speed, and determination.
The day’s climax was the award ceremony, where winners were honored with medals, trophies, and certificates for their outstanding performances. The coveted overall championship trophy was awarded to St. Luke House, sparking joyous celebrations across the ground.
In her closing address, Ms. Quincy D’Souza commended the students for their exceptional efforts and praised the staff for their meticulous planning. She also emphasized the invaluable role of parents in nurturing the talents and aspirations of young athletes, leaving everyone inspired and motivated.
