There Is No Place Like Earth.
On 30th January 2020, Mr. Siddhanth, a representative from Sony BBC Earth, conducted a workshop for the students of Std: VI and VII on protecting our Mother Earth.
Through various Video presentations and experiments, he highlighted on the harmful effects of the usage of plastic to our environment and our marine life.
The importance of Reduce, Recycle and Reuse was stressed in order to manage waste and enjoy a better life.
Children who answered the questions correctly were given a pencil box where each pencil had a seed of a plant which they could plant to protect the environment. Later a quiz was conducted, wherein Soumya Jadhav of Std: VII – C stood first.
