4th September 2020.

You Are The Light Of The World.

5th September is observed as Teachers Day as it marks the birthday of Dr. Radhakrishnan Sarvepalli, the Second President of India and a great scholar who dedicated his life towards education.

In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, schools being shut for the last few months, our students of Std: VII and X found a novel way to express their gratitude towards their teachers for empowering them with knowledge, through a virtual celebration on 4th September 2020.

A short prayer service was conducted wherein the students prayed for the safety of their Principal and teachers and thanked their mentors for being a ray of hope in their lives and for striving hard to impart education through virtual classes, thus not letting the pandemic affect academics.

Students also prayed for our Silver Jubilarians, Mrs. Sangeeta Andrades and our helper, Mr. Roman and our retiring librarian Ms. Pramilla Pant.

Through the enactment of a skit, students appreciated the efforts of their teachers in shaping young minds through online classes so that learning continues and education is not disrupted.

A Power Point Presentation took the teachers down memory lane recalling the exciting events of the past.

The Students of Std: VI presented a classical dance.

Our Principal, Sr. Flory and our Supervisor, Ms. Anisa, thanked the students for their thoughtfulness and for making this day a special one for all the teachers.
